Why B.I.D.?
We at Blessing in Disguise Children's Charity, unlike many other charities and organisations, is a purely not-for-profit organisation. We keep our overheads to a minimum, we don't have elaborate salaries, fancy cars and villas in the south of France. We have the interest of our clients at the centre of our world, money raised is used where it is needed most and not wasted on overheads and unnecessary admin functions, we do everything ourselves to keep costs down, that includes building our own website, creating monthly newsletters, accounts, fundraising, event planning - this all helps to operate on minimal costs and ensure that every penny goes a long way.
We are always looking for new ideas and welcome your input. We don't give the client what we think that they want. We ask them what they want, we listen to what they want and then we strive to provide the best service we possibly can to meet those needs.
